Up until last year our team had never considered fundraising. A federal grant had covered our yearly fuel, maintenance, and rescue gear costs and all of our effort went into training so that we could provide our region with the best helicopter rescue resource possible.
But when our grant disappeared, we had to learn how to fundraise and we had to learn quickly.
We need your help to establish a sustainable source of funding for our team.
We conduct more than 80 missions each year in Washington. Our team is largely composed of volunteers, we are a non-profit organization, and we do not charge for the our resuces. No other team in the region has a hoist equipped helicopter that is staffed with mountain rescuers and paramedics.
